edp
Hey can you guys please provide the size of the connector on the soldered on wifi card. Non of the antennas I bought fit and it's difficult to find the info on it
How is the GPU powered in this setup? PC power supply or can a lower end gpu like a 3060 be powered by the Sigma?
If you add a graphics card, you must use additional power supply.
Waiting for the 16gb RAM Model... Any updates on the ETA?
What the Sigma!
👍
Cool bord
Can it be used with a clockwork board?
I don't like the name Latte panda, just call it flying dragon, or Methuselah!
just too expensive...
Can this be powered with a battery?
Can you run a 10.1” hdmi monitor and the board on a battery ?
This voice over lol
too expensive sorry
This seems very nice and could be a great fit for NAS project since you have access to the PCIe lanes. One could be used for ethernet while the rest could comfortably be used for drives. I'm excited to see and invest more time into that project!
Wow! This is amazing, is there any eta on the 16gb model cause I’m defo buying that one 😅
I clicked thinking it will be an AMD apu
Maybe i can make a handeld with manjaro
Awesome! Looking forward to your Manjaro.
I forgot about these guys. I'm glad they're still around.
We're still here and going strong. We're glad to have you back!
@@lattepanda6547 Please do a an entire stack of Ryzen, from Strix Halo when its released to something like the 6600u Even better if it has quad sodimm slots
I seriously question their use of the N100. Even though it's physically smaller, the much better performance, features, and IO (e.g. 9 vs 20 PCIe lanes) could be had w/any of the Ryzen CPUs in the various gaming handhelds. Better to go with the slight larger board size.
Thanks for the feedback! We aim for this module to be compact, energy-efficient, which can be suitable for small-sized scenarios like handheld devices. Could you recommend some Ryzen CPU models?😊
@@lattepanda6547 Any of the current offerings in the gaming handhelds would be the most obvious choice. The Steam deck's unit may likely be so custom it's exclusive to Valve. However the Z1 extreme is likely not. Failing that, any of the 7040 series would share the same basic "DNA" w/the Z1 and net you all of the benefits. But again, the biggest potential hurdle is going to be the die size disparity. I'd consider that a more than reasonable design tradeoff, but your formfactor may be your hard requirement. The N100 is just terrible. It was anemic on the design table much less in any actual shipping product. I'd question the value if Intel was literally gifting them to you.
@@PrimalNaCl If you like handheld console then buy a steam deck, rog ally. Why should any board be made "gaming-ready"? Besides, this video doesn't advertise that it's suitable for gaming at all.
@@AlphaArea I have all of the above. I never asserted it had to be gaming ready. What I did, and am, asserting is that the N100 is trash compared what can already be had elsewhere and provided examples of that fact.If their target physical formfactor and target pricing allows for better, more capable, cpu(s) in the same/comparable/better power envelope why tf would you or anyone else care about its original market? I have other LattePanda devices. Other than the first Alpha 864 (no hw ability to clear/reset cmos settings; bricked w/settings to boot from usb device so now doesn't accept USB KB input so no can get into setup to do anything.) they have been swell and compelling. This one is depressingly anemic and sad; not compelling.
@@PrimalNaCl The AMD Phoenix is no doubt a powerful CPU architecture. But in terms of performance, power consumption, and price, it is not in the same league as the N100, which is supposed to be competing with the Raspberry Pi and other RockChip Pi, and if it can maintain its $99 price tag, it will have a impact on all kinds of ARM boards
Now if they could make en GPU thats fits in the nvme slot these things would sell as hot cakes.
"GPU fit nvme", it will make something totally different. Dream big!
非常好主板,使我CPU风扇旋转。爱来自中国🥰
Thanks for your support.
Woww! Revolutionary concept..
Thanks for your enthusiasm!
I look forward to using it to make an ultra small computer
Exciting project! Can't wait to see you create it.
I love LattePanda!
We love you too! Thanks for being a part of our LattePanda family.
❤❤
😊😊
My lattepanda v1 not working in just 3 years not a good option to purchase rather i should have bought rasberry pi full support and no harrasment!!
Hi, sorry for the unhappy experience. Please contact our tech team for the tech issue: techsupport@lattepanda.com
Buying this is better than buying a gaming pc
Wish you made like a LattePanda Sigma Lite with all the interfaces, and the large built in SSD and memory, but the low power processor of the Delta 3. The main reason I want it is for battery life.
It's cool 🎉
From 1:25 on the narration becomes a bit more robotic...as if AI on this Sigma wrote it!
Genshin? Also this would probs be good for a streaming machine
Am literally shock ! they build i5 1340P processor in a single board computer with thunderbolt, M.2 SSD and many more... 🔥🔥🔥
yes
Thanks for the guide.
Is it need some driver software?
No, you do not need to use any driver software. Just plug and play.
@@lattepanda6547Same instructions for the 3 Delta?
How many Operating systems can i run at the same time with this? I am a security researcher and i would like to run Proxmox at it, with for example: Security Onion distro, RockyLinux, Kali Purple, Windows 10 / 11. Windows server w/ AD for tests, Win 11, 10 for malware tests, Remnux + containers, Suricata / Snort, Elastik ELK /Wazuh, etc. I might add or change stuff in the future but would be something like that. Would it run all at the same time100% smooth? Id buy the sigma 32 GB RAM versioN (64 woud be perect but ive read cant add till 64) Running 24/7 whole year.
👍
Can it be powered by USB C ? I sincerely HATE external bricks on tiny computers.
Yes, it can be powered by USB C.but please note that you need at least 100W PD type C power adapter.
Im waiting Latte Panda using 64gbx2 (MT62F1G64D4EK-023 AAT:B) with i7-1370P processor...this board just too powerful
i understand this and yet im interested.
This is going to be perfect as a Ripple node.
If its x86 system, how it handle the ram above 4gb, its not x64 compatible? Or why it have 16 or 32gb ram if its un usable?
Dude, all cpus have been 64 bit x86 type for years
Just not able to afford this board...
Santa better be watching this
Waht is with AMD ryzen 9 mobile? Will it come to lattepanda?
Lmao he sounds like hes taking a shit
what is the name of the media library software @02:11 ?
The personality in this!! Glad I supported you guys
what do you mean four m.2 slots an connect sata or nvme ssd why not both or all i find that sbc makers charging a lot of money and their product really missing something why do an sbc need 4 video out and usb 2.0 and and two nics but only give you one nvme or one sata then call it a nas device so now you need to purchase another device to add 2 or 4 sata drives better off buying an mitx mother board instead
